The NVS-EN85CX 8-zone voice alarm extender is a key component of the EN54-16 certified public address and voice alarm system. This all-in one voice alarm and evacuation extender offers the same features as the voice evacuation controller, including zone paging, signal line monitoring, amplifier changeover, speaker line supervision, power supply monitoring, power amplification, and fire alarm interface, with all main signals fed from the master controller. Equipped with a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), the router ensures high-quality audio performance and advanced signal processing for both commercial announcements and emergency evacuations. Each extender includes 8 zone speaker outputs, with a rated power output of 500W. The system can be pre-configured using supplied software for microphone and zone settings, zone loading, speaker monitoring, fire alarm mode, alert/evacuation message outputs, and AC/DC configurations, which are then synchronized with the master controller and extender. The system complies with EU regulations EN54-16:2008 for Voice Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment.
